I told Jo at CPK I was going to try to unbuff the scales I have before buying some more.
Her response: Sounds good. I think I have heard sandblasting works. sonofa... I think I will try one step up in bristle brush and then just order another set if it doesn't open them up enough. I feel like I am so close. |

View Quote The coldest I've seen it here (NW Iowa) was -24 when driving in to work a few years ago. When I was a kid with my dad (auctioneer) doing an auction somewhere in ND, I forget where, it was -30. In the afternoon. With high wind. That was brutal. I remember another time, several years ago, sitting in a treestand deer hunting in early January, and by the end of "shooting time" I was fucking cold. According to the truck driving out, the temp was -15. That's too damn cold to be sitting still up in a tree. |
