I’ve always wanted this gun. I just hope it lives up to my expectations. I had a HK USP .45 Tactical a few years ago that was an absolute turd. Since then, I bought a FNP-45 Tactical that is the absolute best shooting polymer frame high capacity .45 that I’ve ever owned.

Awesome pistol.
I have a USP 40 which I love; never got around to getting the Mk. |

I recently picked up an HK USP elite. Hoping that is not a turd. I really like my FNX Tactical. Was actually thinking about picking up another as I heard they were redesigning them but not sure if that is internet lore.

I always wanted one of those rascals. May be my next gun if I can find one.

LOL! I scored this NIB gun for $1699 plus tax. I couldn't find an online deal that would beat this, surprisingly...even after paying state sales tax View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I’ve got a Rugged Obsidian 45 in NFA jail, but I also just put myself on the waitlist for an KAC Mark 23 suppressor

I tested that beast as part of the SOPMOD ramp up in '93. As part of that testing we went to Roger's in Elijah and spent a week on the pneumatics. Initially it felt like a brick but by mid week I was consistently hitting head shots, from the holster, in under 1 sec at 10 yards. I remember using my strong hand middle finger for mag changes as opposed to the thumb. Quite fast. I also tightened up that fat fuck Rosie that worked at the range but that's another story.
Also shot that thing at night with the LAM and NODs, taking heads shots at 100 yds once it was dialed in. It's a good pistol but way too heavy, especially with all the kit. Still have a 1/2 box of the black talons that it was issued with laying around somewhere. |

I think you're the first person I've ever heard describe the USP.45T as an absolute turd. I've heard Big, yes. Blocky, sure. Unergonomic, yea. But the MK23 is just more of that, with the same capacity. What made it an absolute turd? Maybe you just had a bad example. View Quote |

Friend of mine has one, it’s a cool gun- nice buy OP.
Biggest memory from shooting that thing is how HUGE it is. |

I've got an FNP-45 Tactical too. Love it. It wears an IR light/laser and an Osprey can. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/57642/20170905_031223429_iOS-439846.JPG View Quote |

What didn’t you like about the USP? How does the Mark 23 and FNP 45 compare? Thanks. |

Nice pistol.
Curious as to what was wrong with your USP 45? They're considered one of the best, most reliable .45s in the world. My 3 and my brothers/dads have never had a malfunction over what's likely a combined 50,000 rounds. |

i was offered a pretty favorable trade for a NIB one years ago.
i couldn't think of any use for it, so i passed. neat gun, though. |

I'd love to shoot one someday. They're like the Excalibur of Pistols.
Are you going to try and acquire a LAM? |
|
HK kicks ass. The Mk23 is too much gun for me, though. I’ll stick with my P30.

A pistol so big and heavy as that should have a arm brace and a AFG.

They are huge and awkward but man do I want one. Nice pistol score.

WARNING-thread hijack attempt imminent! Lol...always wanted to know, can all variants of these be carried condition 1?
