I remember Obama's last arrival in China. A well deserved slap in the face.
|
|
|
That was impressive! The two most powerful nations together at that moment. The Chicoms can sure throw a party.
And Melania looked as elegant as ever. You're saying Obama didn't get that kind of reception? eta - oh, yeah, the no ladder incident. How embarrassing. |
|
Fucking awesome.
Xi's body language next to Trump...hard to put a finger on certain qualities about it. MOST DEFINITELY submissive, hopeful- nervous. Maybe, just maybe, there's hope yet that we won't have to push their shit in. |

Donald Trump reacts to President Obama's lackluster China arrival |

You put on a reception like that to try to put your visitor back on his heels a bit. Looks to me like they went full on Imperial China Meets Ghengis Khan with that one. It's good to see two super powers taking each other seriously for a change.
All we need from China right now is a strangle hold on funds moving into North Korea. We can and probably will assist with the humanitarian crisis that gets kicked off when the Kim dynasty is relegated to the wood chipper of socialist history. Beyond that we need to address China's monetary policy and their territorial aspirations. Those two items will be subject to serious and long term negotiation. What we need to jump start the process is for them to bring us the head of Kim Jong Un on a nicely engraved silver platter as a hospitality gift. In return we could maybe give President Xi a couple of Hollywood starlets to keep as sex slaves or something. North Korea is a problem, but not the biggest problem our relationship with China faces. It's an area where we could share common interests and set a tone for some cooperation if we can do so from the proper friendly distance. |
|
It would be epic if Trump would stop on the carpet one of these days and go up and talk to one of these ceremonial guards and inspect their rifle...kinda like Robert Ryan had Oddball do in Dirty Dozen. When he's done, pat the guy on his back and drop him a coin or a $100 bill.
Dude would either be the talk of the barracks (in a friendly country) or sentenced to a punishment battalion by others. |

see Asians are tall and not fat
eta: that chicom goose stepping has a belly |

China showed power because they knew that they were now meeting with a US President, not some rotten turd opportunist like the last time.

Expat kid? |

The Chinese pulled all the stops for Trump's visit showing a great deal of respect for our President.
Saudis gave him the same kind of "conquering hero" welcome. President Trump Gets Royal Welcome At Saudi Arabia Palace Of King Salman |

The contrast in the videos is staggering... and AWESOME!!!
MAGA! |
|
Did you see Trump make sure to stop and shake his hand right on front of that camera and then motion to move on like he was the boss?

Because if the USA decides to stop buying Chinese products by the boatload, China's mega-Keynesian centrally-planned Frankstein monster economy goes the way of the USSR.

Trump should have buttoned his dress coat. Leaving his overcoat open was cool, though.

Who would have guessed that an authoritarian dictatorship would embrace a megalomaniac?

Cultural Anthropology plays a HUGE part in international business.. I'm guessing Trump knows how to act and carry himself in relation to each countries culture that he visits along with being MAGA!
|
|
One of the things that always strikes me when watching something like that (or parades) from China, Vietnam, Korea, etc., is how those countries, which are so different culturally and linguistically, have nevertheless adopted western practices. The uniform styles, the bands, the drill and ceremony, etc., are all western.
ETA: Also, commies are really good at parades. |

Even the way they played the Chinese national anthem was lackluster. Still, the overall honor guard and review was well done. Unlike that piece of turd they wouldn't even roll out the ladder for the Chinese are showing respect to Trump. 0 has crass (crassy ass president) and Trump has class. The Chinese laid out a very good reception there. Well planned and executed.
I almost can't imagine what China could accomplish if it wasn't saddled with a purely communist government. But then again, if there is one thing you can say in favor of a government like that, it's that they don't seem to have a problem with such things as antifa, aggressive trannys, idiot liberalism in all its many and varied forms, and many other problems that our free society allows to happen even though many of us view a lot of them as very negative and destructive. I still prefer our system but I just hope that all the antifa weenies will OD on their adderal prescription. |

Because it is Trump's first visit. They were also cordial to Obama for his first visit. By 2016, China was pissed at Obama. If Trump pisses them off, they will do the same thing to him. https://youtu.be/BtmsoNAy_rM Stop deluding yourself. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
