Good for him.
Having 87 million dollars of disposable income probably helps out a bit. |

As a 40 year old who recently started hitting the gym, this guy gives me hope.

For the record, he was also in Kenneth Clarke's Civilisation

View Quote William Shatner is pro-gun Patrick Stewart hasn't made any pro or anti gun comments, only things he's said are very much against domestic violence since his dad beat his mom regularly. Brent Spiner (Data) Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) and Marina Sirtis (Troi) are all anti-gun, Wheaton and Siritis moreso. |

He's a cool guy,
A Yorkshireman luvie actor I'd place a large bet he was a labour/liberal in his politics and most likely anti gun. |

Tons of my customers look like that.
At the start line of any mountain or road bike race, there are tons of animals in their 60's who are fast as balls. Couple of these guys are faster than me, and I'm 28. The guys I'm talking about are just normal people. They don't have millions of dollars and all day to eat healthy and get coached. My point is, its fucking sad how low our standards for physical fitness have become. It's disgusting to see the average american citizen. Disgusting fatbodies. 75% of the people in their late 60s I see are hardly ambulatory, then I hang out with a bunch of older athletes at races, they're the same age but literally its like talking to someone 20 years younger. |

View Quote Read a study once which said runners peak ~29 but the decline from there is very slow. At age ~65, they're only back to where they were at age ~17. So it's not that unusual for competitors to still be competitive long after we'd think they should be out of the running. |

Once you get past the 1970's BBC TV production values (think public access cable/junior high AV club), the performances in I Clavidivs are phenomenal. |

If we are going to do I Claudius with the "v"s Did you ever see the Sesame Street version. Monster Piece Theatre (with Alastor Cooke) doing "Me, Clavdivs."? All the Muppets are yelling at each other Me Clavdivs, no Me Clavdivs, pronouncing the v in each syllable? Hilarious. I watched it in the mid 70s, the first time n Masterpiece Theater. Mid 70s BBC production values were pretty good. ETA: Mother fucker, it is on YouTube I haven't seen this in maybe 35 years - I guess they didn't say "Clav Divs" |
