This is now the active "shit (might be) is definitely happening in Ukraine" thread.

Sometimes they're untrained and sometimes they come back KIA within 48 hours. But you would be a volunteer, right? This may be more important to you and me than most, especially on a moral or intellectual level, but there's a reason we're sending affordable aid and not sending troops to die over there. Clearly there's a limit to how much we help, and we're exploring what that limit is. Looks to me like we're starting to get close:

Your mask continues to slip off more and more as you post. First, you post a bunch of bunk bullshit that concludes in Russia being welcomed back into world prosperity and keeping Crimea, then you post even more bunk bullshit about the United States' best interests being served by a peace mediation hosted by our #1 enemy, and now you're literally posting false Russian propaganda about Ukrainian conscription.

No, Ukraine is not rounding up all military age males they can find; there are deserters and draft dodgers in every country that goes through existential wars. Yes, there was a corruption scandal among some recruiters where they were letting people off the hook for bribes; Ukraine already addressed this by sacking these guys, and Ukraine also sacked their Minister of Defense partly because that happened under his watch; you also don't weed out a legacy of Russian-inspired corruption overnight, so it will pop up occasionally but doesn't prove the entire recruitment and conscription system is corrupt. No, Ukraine is not running out of men; they will eventually, but it isn't now.

Between your slow descent into pro-Russia troll, your only presence on this forum being in this thread, your join date, your constant thread-sliding with bizarre non-sequiturs (case in point, you didn't even address the post you quoted above), and your consistent grammar and spelling mistakes, I'm calling it. You are a retread troll of some sort, possibly foreign or possibly a Russian-sympathizing ESL American. Regardless, the shitty conclusions you continue to draw lead me to ask one thing:

These so-called "intellectuals" who have been running our country (into the ground I might add) would do well to shut their own pie holes and listen to the experiences of people who have actually "done" shit in the real world, not just talk about it. You can have your Ivy League intellectuals. I prefer to listen to the experiences of those who graduated from the school of hard knocks. In a world filled with thinkers and doers, I'll take the doers every single time. These highly educated intellectuals are a product of the same schools that brought us the bright idea of nation building in places like Afghanistan and Iraq. The truth is, these academia elites may have years upon years of the best education money can buy in this country. But they have no real world experience. In short, they don't know fuck about shit.

Lol, this is the best you can do? One guy who is drafted gets arrested because he refused to go? Lol.
There are always those who want to live in a country and and use the benefits living there but don't want the responsibility to defend it when they are actively attacked.
Bullshit on the kia within 48 hours, you can't really believe they are on the front line that fast. If you do, coc prevents me from saying what I think. Third video has been debunked already.
It's easy for "intellectuals" to pontificate on things, and make policy when they are never held responsible for being wrong. Take the great society as just one example.
I already volunteered for service of my country, and would have performed my duties wherever I was sent.
It's easy for you to take a "moral" tack when it is not your family, friends and associates being killed, raped, abducted, and sent to camps in the country they are actively at war with while their homes are stolen by the invaders. Having their cities bombed into dust, and their sovereign territory taken by force.
It's all a fucking game and academic exercise for you since you have no skin in it, and could care less how the people there actually feel, or what happens to them.
It was ivy league assholes that disarmed Ukraine multiple times, and neutered their ability to defend themselves. It's almost like they wanted russia to invade and take the country over, or they are really fucking stupid. My vote is both.
It is also my opinion that these ivy league assholes head out and consume mass quantities of fecal matter.

That would be awesome! I'm assuming the Abrams tanks mentioned would also be in addition to the 31 we've already pledged, correct?

Everyone has been hyper focused on fighter jets and ATACMS, but I hope we don't forget about artillery. That is the weapon that has been most responsible for successes and failures on both sides throughout this war and will probably remain so. Ukraine can always use more big guns, MLRS systems and ammunition for them.

What if these new HIMARS had the software to launch ATACMS?  That was allegedly removed from previously supplied systems.

Software for GLSDB launches was my guess.

Ukrainian hackers of the Cyber Resistance team handed over to the international intelligence community InformNapalm unique evidence of the recruitment, training and transfer to Russia of entire units of Cuban mercenaries - 199 terrorist fighters - to participate in hostilities against Ukraine (an archive with scans of their passports is attached at the end of the article).

The President of Romania called for an investigation into the fall of the wreckage of a Russian drone on the territory of the country

Bucharest has launched an investigation into the incident with the fall of the wreckage of a Russian drone on Romanian territory. The Romanian president informed NATO allies about the discovery of drone wreckage

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday called for an "urgent investigation" into the incident involving falling debris - believed to be the remains of a Russian drone that was found on Romanian territory near the Ukrainian border.

Bucharest acknowledged the fact of falling debris after the country's authorities for several days rejected Kyiv's claims about the fall and explosion of Iranian-made Russian drones in Romania during an attack on the Ukrainian port of Izmail on Sunday evening.

"Investigators found elements resembling the wreckage of a drone on the evening of September 5," the Romanian Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

The wreckage was discovered in the vicinity of Plauru, a Romanian village on the other side of the Danube, opposite Izmail.

Investigators will conduct a technical analysis to "determine the origin and characteristics [of the wreckage]," the Romanian president added.

Iohannis, who said earlier this week that no remnants of Russian drones had been found in the country, today called for an "urgent and professional investigation."

"If it is confirmed that it was a Russian drone, such a situation is completely unacceptable, it would be a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Romania, a NATO ally," he said, opening the Three Seas Initiative summit organized by Bucharest.

Iohannis said he had briefed the NATO Secretary General and Bucharest's NATO allies on developments through his representative.

The alliance allies "expressed full solidarity with Romania" at a meeting of the ambassadors of the North Atlantic Council countries on Wednesday. NATO spokesman Dylan White said in a statement sent to AFP.

"We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain in close contact with our ally Romania," he added.

According to the NATO treaty, member states are obliged to carry out mutual defense.

Katalin Drula, leader of the center-right party USR, accused the government of trying to hide the truth.

"They lied for two days. Ukraine was telling the truth. They instinctively wanted to sweep it under the carpet," Drula wrote on Facebook.

Bucharest strongly condemned Russian strikes on Ukraine's Danube port infrastructure.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, one person was killed in new Russian drone attacks on a port area in the southwestern Odesa region, near the border with Romania.

Residents of the Romanian bank of the Danube posted videos and pictures of the attack on social networks.

"People are panicking a little. There are only 370 meters between our borders," Timur Țîus, mayor of the Romanian border town of Chilia Veche, told AFP.

"Of course, we heard everything. We're used to the sound of sirens and things like that," he said. "But we feel safe because our country is a member of NATO."

Following the breakdown of a United Nations-brokered agreement on grain shipments from Black Sea ports, Moscow has stepped up attacks on Ukraine's Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, where ports and infrastructure vital to agricultural exports are located.

As far as I can tell there’s not any due process.  The state decided it can just choose to redistribute a persons wealth because they don’t like them.

That’s a dangerous change to our monetary system because it strikes at the heart of it, the trust that what people have will remain theirs.

None of it's false. Those videos come from France24, Radio Free Europe and The Sun in England. My god. You're such an ideologue you're so damn paranoid. Anything, anything that doesn't fit your extremist view is from Russia or is Russian progaganda. Where did you grow up? I'm guessing it was behind the Iron Curtain where you had KGB watching and manipulating your every move.

Here's a video I found tonight with a senior consultant for the thinktank Chatham House talking about this very topic... is a total Russian defeat more dangerous than a Russian victory? He says this is a serious topic being discussed in Washington, London, Paris and Berlin Not just some Russian propagandists:

You didn't watch the first video did you? It's a compilation of 5 or 6 grabbings and a Ukrainian official saying it's been happening but they were isolated cases. Bottom line is there are conscriptors patrolling the streets and if they won't go nicely they're grabbed kicking and screaming. Why wouldn't they be? If you need people and they won't go willingly that's what you do.

Who's in for shark meme?

https://t.me/uniannet/110537

Too lazy to do the proper translation so the google translate pasted

"There are new details of the attack of sharks on the catamaran of the round-the-world expedition with the Russians on board

The website of the expedition project reports that the first shark attack occurred on September 4, when the rear left tank of the catamaran was damaged, after which it was completely submerged in water.

Over the next day, the catamaran was able to travel about a hundred miles, but on the evening of September 5, the ship was again attacked by sharks, damaging the right balloon. As a result, the catamaran began to sink, and the crew gave an SOS signal. After 45 minutes, the expedition members were picked up by the cargo ship Dugon Ace.

Now the team is heading to the Australian city of Brisbane.

Something sharks this year are not very fond of Russian. Or vice versa"

false, you didnt watch the whole video, it states that those recruiters who were doing the snatch and grab were fired from recruiting, and that adjustments to recruiting where made.  its obvious you are trying to make up your own story. They are not grabbing them kicking and screaming, and the ones that do that are fired.  what part of that do you not understand? what you are trying to say is not happening in Ukraine.

What else are they going to say? Bottom line is both sides have run out of volunteers. It's interesting, because the first American draft was during the civil war. We enslaved the population to end slavery. The Gangs of New York movie with Leonardo DeCaprio was a good depiction (towards the end) of the NY riots because of the draft that were put down by the military. But both sides here are enslaving over something much stranger. Ukraine wants to govern a bunch of Russians in Crimea and Russia wants to govern Ukrainians in Kiev because they "historically have done so."

It's only being "discussed" by weak-minded twats who can't comprehend a very simple fight between good and evil. Russia is evil and needs to be destroyed in place just as the former Soviet Union was.

🧨 Morning in Russia starts with explosions and drones

The inhabitants of the terrorist country could not sleep that night: they fought off another attack of drones.

According to the Russians, “air defense systems destroyed two enemy UAVs over the territory of the Rostov region, one over the Ramensky district of the Moscow region and one over the territory of the Bryansk region.”

▪️At the same time, in Rostov-on-Don, a drone strike came just 150 meters from the headquarters of the Southern Military District, “military correspondents” whine. A fire started, the facades of three buildings and several cars were damaged.

▪️ Near Moscow, an explosion was heard at the airfield named after. Zhukovsky. Rossmi write that an unknown drone was allegedly shot down over Ramenskoye, Moscow Region.

In general, "nothing happens, "its" goes according to plan."

📹“This is what we have today 4 in the morning!” Russian woman talks about the situation in Rostov.

Bryansk Governor
The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stopped the attack of Ukrainian terrorists. An unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down over Bryansk. There were no casualties.

As a result of the fall of the wreckage of the aircraft, the glazing of the building of the Bryansk I railway station, the station square and several cars were partially damaged. Operational and emergency services are on site.

Tourniquet post-

Just did a tourniquet course recently as a review of current practices through the lens of the war.
Lots of good material for that, but most importantly for those of us who know not to use giant rubber bands for tourniquets is the issue of fake tourniquets.

🇺🇦💔 I'm done for today. I just don't have the strength.

There's so much to do, I'd really like to win the lottery. You know what you see?

This is what a soldier's lost life looks like. This is what cracked Chinese shit looks like!😭🤬

This Chinese shit was put in the soldiers' IFAK. Today one of them paid with his life. It could have been prevented.

He won't be coming home again💔

I was contacted by one of the guys from their unit begging me to replace his boys tourniquets with authorized ones. One life too late…

Of course, we will do it and provide them with CAT7.
It is for such units and medics working with them that my collections are made. So that men and women who give their lives in the hands of their homeland receive all possible items that will give them a chance to survive on the front line, even if they are injured.

🚀💰 If we manage to launch a fundraiser for medics into space:
$ 10,000 ❗️
we will receive an additional $ 5,000 from the doctor.🔥

💥If we do this, over $12,000 will be allocated to the order of 500 CAT7 tourniquets.💥

and the rest of the amount for other equipment. because shitty tourniquets are the cause of many preventable deaths. 💔

my inbox is flooded with requests for the right TQ...a year and a half of war and morons are still bringing $5 tourniquets to the front lines - I have only one word for you - you have the blood of these boys on your hands!🤬🤬🤬🤯

For people who want to support Ukraine - no, it's not a competition "whose fundraiser is more important" and about  your money, but many of you have started to get lost ... I know, everyone loves to hear "we guarantee to tear the Russians apart", "we will make movie explosions for you” etc. But all of this won't be possible... without living soldiers! The priority of the war cannot only be the number of Russian dead - but it must be to achieve the objectives while keeping the largest percentage of your own soldiers alive!

This is why the fundraiser for battlefield medics is so important. Perhaps the most important…. because is there anything more important than human life?
Pls, Just donate.

Battlefield break

I honestly thought we were past this until I looked on Amazon for "tourniquet" and saw a 10 pack for 70 dollars. There's also a nearly perfect copy of a CAT on WalMart's website.

Don't fall for it.

IT's fake fake fake fake fake...

My kits I delivered were from Oregon National Guard stock when I got as a reservist during my last muster.

All were real and unused but had expiration dates of 2022.

Don't fucken care.. they WORK and are REAL...and will do the job.

I hate my fucken buddies sometimes with their paranoid OPSEC PERSEC shit but I really wanted to share but also strangely, I know of 3 cases where the fake ones actually worked and it saved amputations in the summer battles.

Probably on arms. A lower volume bleed on an arm doesn't take that much pressure to stop. Putting one on a big quad is a ton of pressure.

No idea how plugged in this guy still is. This would be the same thing for oligarchs to do. But Putin has his own power structure too. On the other hand he is isolating himself and ratcheting up purges like a tyrant running out of time.

Well anyone is invited to watch the 2.5 minute video and make up their own mind. It's not like Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (the source) is a Russian or Ukrainian propaganda outlet. They received funding from the CIA up until 1972, and US Congress thereafter in order to send "the free flow of information" to the commies who only watched/heard their state media:

The UN being an amalgamation of mostly small poor nations who can’t govern themselves and a few rich civilized ones is not the model to enforce standards of civilization. By design it is a means to restrain and obstruct the few civilized nations to the level of corruption and barbarity common among the many.

Civilians have a lot of talk about the fact that there are such bastard officers who do not let fighters on well-deserved vacations. But even the President said that it is necessary to go on vacation.

It is necessary, everything is always necessary. Who and for whom should do it is usually not clear, but it is necessary. But the typical bastard officer who does not let the fighters go on vacation is me.

Today I have a great fighter going home. A jolly sergeant who had recently played a joke on me about bald tires and Dzhamshuts. He came to us on mobilization, he was not eager to serve, but he served as I would wish many. Incomplete thirty years, two children, offered to baptize the third, as he was born, asked for a vacation. A well-deserved vacation, by the way.

So, today he went home. Forever. And he will no longer have a third child, and I will not become a godfather for his family. It’s like an already boring trench routine, but you still penetrate more strongly to one of the fighters than to the others. The personal cemetery expanded again, against the general background - almost imperceptibly.

So, about holidays. He had the right to leave, but due to the wildest shortage, letting go of an intelligent sergeant is too expensive. It is from the point of view of the remaining fighters, who also need to be saved. Let go of one, but hold on to others - and discipline itself will float in the wrong direction. If you start letting go of everyone who is supposed to, you will start burying the rest at an accelerated pace. Yes, and they can decide from above that this is not how you need replenishment if you have fighters traveling around on vacation. Therefore, it is better to be that bastard officer, but draw out the situation. In addition, smart sergeants are diamonds.

And another moment. We don't call each other by their first names. But for Genka, the war is over, so even so, alone with myself, I can address him by name. Genka went home. Forever.

Here, every officer who has been fighting since the beginning of the NWO has his own cemetery behind his back. If you look back at him, he will pull and tighten you by the legs. You try to run away from it, and it will catch up with you with new graves at an accelerated pace. Now we have to live with it and think about the living, so that it does not spread too quickly. During the Second Chechen War, I did not have such an experience.

And the worse your situation with the state, the faster your cemetery grows. And kindness with holidays - she, too, will only feed the cemetery. So somehow I'll continue to be a bastard officer. I do not vysruk, I will not lose.

And Genka doesn't need a vacation anymore. Acting - do not regret, besides, I know that I would be right. But something still scratches from the inside, pulls. This is purely personal. Genka wasn't really angry with me then, and he isn't angry now. It's just that my personal graveyard got a little bigger.

I’ve seen it mentioned several times recently that Russian mobility and supply suffer from very inferior Chinese tires. They are not allowed to replace until 52k kilometers but the tires are bald by 40k. Blowouts and no traction. Yet another factor fraying.

When this war ends Russia will be destitute. The ruble is crumbling. Massive intervention barely keeps it a breath above penny/ruble.
