Slowly making our way home from Arizona in a few days. Thinking of going to Zion, already visited arches and the salt flats.
but what else to do? We brought electric bikes, which were fun at the Grand Canyon. Anything else cool in Utah for a couple of older fat folks? |

State Capitol in SLC, stroll around Tabernacle grounds (they won't let you inside)..they'll strenuously try to convert you as well. I enjoyed seeing both.

Ogden. Make your pilgrammage to the St. Browning Monument.
Visit the museum at the former train station. Four museums there (train, Browning Automobile Collection and Browning Firearms Museum, forgot the fourth). One of the train cars there is a WW II hospital car (contrast that to the one in the Civil War Museum of Medicine in Frederick, MD). Utah is a pretty state. Four corners? |

I flew from NC, fell out of a plane, got shitfaced drunk for a couple of days, flew back to NC and then fell out of a plane again.
That's all I got. |

Drive the famous RT12 from Escalante to Torrey. One of the top scenic roads in the country. Red rock canyon, wind through slick rock, over a razorback ridge with no guardrails and scant berms, through alpine meadows over Boulder Mountain. Lots of places where the horizon is a loooong way off. The town of Boulder was the last town in the 48 States to get year round mail delivery.

Buy a dirt bike. Ride slick rock. Then go right over all that stuff the expensive jeeps struggle on.

Party with Aimless.
But be aware, he doesn't wear pants. Sure caught me by surprise! |

Mesa Verde in SW Colorado. You'll have to take a little walk down to the ruins, but it's worth it.

Quoted: The dinosaur museum at thanksgiving point is actually quite good and as a bonus, there’s Strap Tank Brewery across the freeway from it, next to cabelas. View Quote The Children's Museum there is top notch as well if you have younger kids. See if you can get tickets to the Timpanogos Cave Tour. |

Ogden has an air museum at Hill AFB and there is another small museum I’ve been to around St. George.

Dinosaur National Monument - It’s close to CO.
If you are interested in archeology, there are also a lot of petroglyphs and pictographs in the area. Some are harder to get to than others. Have fun! |
