Still, sold it for what I had in it, dump marks and all. Sold my R100/7 because it was well balanced, but way too hot around town. Awesome on the highway, but when my riding turned to town mostly, it just wasn't great. I built a shed to store it in. As I was finishing building the shed, dropped a sheet of plywood on the tank, dinged it, decided it was time to let go. Not getting loved. Best bike around town I had was a 750 Kaw with shaft draft. Nimble, simple, fun. My kids want me to get a motorcycle again...I was thinking KTM...tell you what, it's not my color, but I'll give you $1k for it. But you have to deliver it and give me a Holt. Nah, of course not. We love all bikes here. Particularly non Harleys because Wisconsin people are sensible people that like reliable bikes, which doesn't include Harley. Even the Harley owners have good humor about it and exchange stories about which roadside they spent their weekend on. Sometimes I wonder if Wisconsin doesn't have the most motorcycles per capita of anywhere in the US, but then I think I just see more living in Milwaukee. In the summer months living off of 43, there is the constant noise of tailpipes from all kinds of motorcycles, all hours day and night. |

That looks awesome. Seriously. The blade shape does not do alot for me, but that's a minor quibble when looking at the rest of the knife. Well done man. |

But it works, it's super reliable, low maintenance, and only worth a couple grand. I have questions. Please forgive me if I come off ignorant, but I am a user/buyer not a maker. Was the edge of the blade done as a Damascus with a hamon? Or was it designed like that with a different piece of steel that was welded to the Damascus? I remember seeing all the work Kuraki put into a basketweave Damascus knife and cannot imagine the man hours involved.... |

Solid homogeneous core with Damascus cladding on both sides. Its etched, then polished. |

the donuts aren't my thing, but the kids like the treat
surprisingly, wisconsin has not legalized pot. our neighbors have. seems like the type of thing wisconsin would lead the way on, but perhaps it just hasn't been a priority since the cops here are already so lenient on it. pot isn't my thing though regardless. |

View Quote It needs to be legalized everywhere. Not because I personally want it, but it seems less harmful than alcohol, causes far fewer problems (drunken domestic assault comes to mind), and is an excuse for way too much abuse by law enforcement. |
