What's your preference for handgun frame material?

Paper or plastic?  Actually, I prefer stainless for some things and tupperware for other applications.

Auto:

Stainless or blued steel with maybe some polymer components.

Think Beretta 92FS or a nice 1911.

I'll make some exceptions for mostly polymer guns, but it has to be something exceptionally comfortable to me.

Revolver:

No question.  Stainless or blued steel with wood or rubber grips.

Of course, I just bought an Airweight J frame with rubber grips, but that's beside the point

I like both.

For EDC a lightweight polymer frame is nice.

For sheer awesomeness and aesthetic beauty, nothing beats an all-steel 1911.

Steel

Science is awesome.

So awesome that it found the perfect material many years ago!

While I prefer the weight and reliability of Glocks, I keep telling myself my next auto HAS to be all metal. Ain't worked yet though.

Steel or alloy. Sold off my plastic...er... 'polymer' handguns sometime ago.

Does not really matter to me.  I have all three.  What it is made of rarely comes into my mind.

But most of my handguns are plastic framed now that I think about it.
