Just to keep things in perspective, keep in mind that there are PLENTY of fundamentalist Christians, who will devoutely quote from the old testament to justify intolerance and hatred, and who willfully ignore basic tenents of the new testament and Christ's message of forgiveness, peace and tolerance.
That said, I agree that parts of the Quaran are more disturbing that the new testament. However, the Quaran does not necessarily condone attacking non-believers (especailly not People of the Book), except in self-defense.
