[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tell me about Medical Savings Accounts and tax deductions for health insurance

If I lost my private, employer-sponsored health insurance (currently with wife's company but not for long), will I be able to deduct the cost of private insurance (very expensive) from taxes?

Or will I just be able to deduct actual medical expenses over a certain amount?
