01/20/06 – EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – Crew members of the C-135C tail number 669, also known as Speckled Trout, watch the aircraft complete its fini-flight after taxiing underneath the fire department water cascade on Jan. 13.
The aircraft not only served in support of senior military leaders with worldwide airlift for 31 years, but it conducted avionics and communications testing at Edwards. Capt. John Kilareski, 412th Flight Test Squadron, and Maj. Raymond Ouellette, 412th FLTS, both piloted the retiring aircraft during it’s farewell flight.
