DOS= denial of service basically some script kiddies attacking the web server with hundreds and thousands of hits, bogging down traffic. And then there's the DDOS, Distributed Denial Of Service attack - same thing, but on a larger scale, coming from 'owned' pc's / servers on the net. The only real way to stop it is at the provider level with filtering to stop the requests before they get to the server. |

Freakin zombies are a pain in the ass! I swear, one of these days I'm gonna get enough of them stinking bastards and there will be a big mess to clean up on aisle everywhere, if you know what I mean!
