From their site:
"If you do decide that you want to get rid of your guns, you can call the non-emergency number of your local police department and ask if they will pick it up.
What are the steps to turn in a gun? * Make sure that the gun is unloaded and secure. (If you do not know how to do this call someone who can do this for you.)
* Get the make model and serial number of the gun or guns. (Some guns, especially long guns, that are old do not have serial numbers.)
* Call your County Sheriff's Office or local Police. They may give you additional instructions.
* When you turn in the gun or guns you might ask for a receipt
* If the gun is legal, you can arrange for it to be transferred to an FFL."
I have to give them some credit, though; they seem to endorse the Eddie Eagle program.
