I went up to my brother-in laws place on the Nooksack and went swimming. It's warm up in these parts, but not humid.

That was around today's high in NC, but strangely people aren't bitching about it since last week the high was 104F. haven't seen any winter coats being worn today though.

Wow! My computer (KIRO weather) shows 82. However, when I stepped outside, it felt more like 96 than 82.

Up at my house it got up to 84 degrees in the shade. I'm 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
We've also had about 3-4' of rain this year. Creek is full of crawdads and the copperheads are getting fat off of the bunnies.

Big difference is that almost nobody has AC in the Puget Sound area. And 95% of the time, you don't need it.
