What is it with the republicans and their refusal to follow state firearms pre-emption laws? The kaliban had a republican state attorney general by the name of dan lungren, who outright refused to enforce the pre-emption law when cities began to pass gun bans. He was also a strong opponent of concealed weapons permits.

That is part of the point. There are Republicans out there who claim the mantle of pro-rights politicians who have not earned it.

By their presence or absense at the protest tomorrow, they will let themselves be known and will be targeted in the primary elections.
