A couple months ago I had never tasted bulleit bourbon or rye. Now it's all I drink. Is a pint a day too much or should I try to cut back to a couple fingers a night? Costco only carries fifths but if I buy one, I'll drink one. I'd rather buy a pint from the corner store for 18 and be limited by the availability.
What does the average arfcom liquor drinker drink in a night? |
I drink around 6oz of bourbon neat per night.
Look at a BAC calculator I think you'll be surprised at what your levels are the next morning driving to work after 16oz at night. |
I might have 1 beer or 2 ounces night of bourbon. Probably 5 nights a week.and I feel like that's pushing it.
I think so, I feel like it's the gateway to 5ths a day. I'm about a pint a day drinker, everyday, it's one of those things that turns into a habit you can't break.

I drink maybe a few beers or a glass of liquor a month,I dont really have time to sit and drink
A PINT??!?!!?
To me that seems enormous. I just had 4 shots of some bourboon and that's enough for me for the night. |
Hey guys, is ten drinks a night too much?
Uh, yeah buddy, it is. |
I always buy a pint because I think the next day I'm going to quit.
That's about 4 gal a month. I'd say that's bit much there buddy.
I would say that if you're already playing availability games you know the answer.
Try not drinking for a week, see how it goes. I'll drink a fifth in a week but then not drink at all for a month. Alcohol has never been my problem. I play availability games with cigars. |

I’m a 1/4 pint maybe a 1/2 on some days . A pint a day? Maybe if your 400 lbs....

Do you weigh as much as a Vehicross? If not, a pint is probably a bit much.
ETA: Answered above... |
It's all relative, if your relatives razz you- it is too much
I drink too much. I’m thinking about cutting back.
But. Attached File ETA: I could drink a pint a night easy. But then I grab a beer. Next thing you know, I’m 14 beer and a pint deep. |

Quoted: You sound like me. View Quote I'm a pint of jack and a pint of cider in for tonight, going to go read a little bit. All I know is, I don't get that fucked up but this year, the older I've gotten, it's turned into an every day thing. It's the habit that gets you. I used to wonder how people could get addicted to alcohol, like what the fuck it's not addicting, but it definitely can get that way, it's humbling. Your baseline is a pint, but you buy fifths, you're usually getting to about 3/4 a fifth sometimes plus maybe beer chaser. Next day you got a 1/4 fifth left, maybe get a half pint and some beer. Shit all adds up and can get out of control, but it's the habit that gets you, whether it's a pint or a fifth or a liter. |

I came to post "beer? No. Ice cream? Yes." But never even considered you meant actual booze. Fuck that

IMO everyone is vastly different. I've never touched it during the week, and all bets were off on the weekends. In the past, I could almost polish off an 750ml bottle of JD in one weekend night of sipping.
Gotta be honest with yourself on whether it's negatively impacting all the other aspects of your life. You only live once, but it's a gift to be cherished. |

Plenty of times I’ve drank a pint or more in a day. But never in consecutive days.

You guys have to admit, for an up and coming drunk I maintain pretty good spelling and grammar.

I would kill the pint, it's Friday. Get some vitamins in you, get some sleep, wake up tomorrow and exercise and do whatever you needed to do for the day. I'd rather not have that piece of a pint remaining, wtf you gonna do with a shot?

A pint of oil in your car is too much. A pint of rye - well...
A jigger is a beer. A pint is 16oz, so 11 beers. More than I care to drink daily. |

Eh I'm probably going to go work overtime in 7hrs. Shit doesn't really bother me, working and not sure where 400lb came from, but I can tell its unhealthy as fuck and can get addicting. |

Get you some Woodford or Whistle Pig. Larceny or Monkey Shoulder. Bulleit is good but not super.
