The fish I have seen stocked are much smaller, basically fingerlings.

The key to eating great Trout is proper prep and cooking.
Once you get that down you will love eating them.

Never had it like that! looks good.
The trout I usually catch are cooked over the campfire that night and I don't bring breading stuff camping!
Definitely will try your method!
