Had a good thunderstorm earlier this evening, quiet now. It has been raining for days here though, I will be glad to see the sun in the morning.

Rain is letting loose now, they are predicting hail too, I posted pics of the last hail storm here, it looked like ping pong sized balls covering my front lawn like snow...

Here too. We need the rain but we need more of a slow soaking rain.
But I love storms. I don't mind that I have to get up in my jammies and clean out the gutters.

Tornado went over the house yesterday. Been raining almost non stop for close to 36 hours now, but the ground is so dry that it's still soaking it up. Whole town lost power while I was picking up pizza for the the wife and her friend. Friend is staying at the house since a tree is across her road and power is out.

Looks like the I-4 corridor north. Nothing but hot and humid in the Space Coast area.

You guys really need it down there. I go to FL 2 or 3 times a week and it's getting dangerously dry down there.
Hope you guys get a good soaking.

That's not good. South FL could really use it. I've been seeing a lot of small fires start up on the west side.
Saw the leftovers of 4 or 5 fires just north of Ft. Myers on Thursday. That rain needs to head further south.

That was before I moved here. I just got here last April, a transfer within my company. Got a company vehicle out of the deal and got out of the Atlanta traffic.

If you went from Atlanta to Waycross you must be in Heaven. I couldn't deal with living in or around Atlanta. TRhe Waycross area would suit me just fine.

Seems to have calmed down for now.
I'll be headed to Waycross about 5:30 tomorrow morning. Going to check the progress on a Wells Cargo trailer that's being built.
