Bring it Winter. I am prepared to handle anything that dirty whore wants to throw my way

You're just too stupid to realize Global Warming Climate Change....."Climate Disruption" when you see it.
Are we are still calling it "Climate Disruption" this week? Or did that change already? |

I need to locate my windbreaker I guess.

YES!! the colder the better. Exactly right.. It's about time.. been waiting for snow and cold weather for a long time... I am so tired of sunshine and warm weather it is getting depressing. |

I hope the cold fronts/jet stream bring it down as far south as key west

<groan>
I hope not. Last winter was indeed brutal. I've started winterizing already. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Maybe we'll actually have a day where it doesn't get to 90 degrees in this part of Florida.

Last winter (minus the rain) was fantastic. January was 90+ degrees warmer than it should have been. I'll take 30f over -65f or colder any day. You guys can have it. 0330 and almost 50f out. Dear me lol. We've been in the high 60's all week. In all honesty, I keep telling myself to head south. 27 years of -60f and colder. Tired of it, and cold isn't good for me medically. Just don't want to leave home lol. |

I also just upgraded to a 96% efficiency furnace after paying big bucks to NationalGrid last winter. |

At least us northerners will be entertained again by you southerners crashing into everything after a dusting of snow

More reason for the power company to raise its rates due to "unexpected demand"... strangely enough we've had a cooler than normal summer but our rates didn't get adjusted to be cheaper...

Honestly I'm quite amazed that it is getting to freezing in places already. I'm sure that's a normal thing, but damn. Today's high is in the 80s here and gets down into the high 60s/low70s overnight.

We had snow a few weeks ago. That is nuts. As an aside: are you awake really early, or up really late? |

Joe Bastardi says the same thing. Cold like last year, bit more snow
|

It went from 90's to 70's in one day here. I don't doubt winter will be rough.

Living in the South but having grown up in the North (I consider Virginia North) it is indeed funny to watch the people slip and slide. Kind-a-like when ya'll start whining about a "heat wave." Dude, 105 heat index, that's just, summer. |

Wife just mentioned "we" need to inventory our supply of snow shovels.
She has a theoretical knowledge of shoveling snow. Kind of like my first hand knowledge of childbirth. |

I got a nice case of plantars fascitis pushing my bike through tthe crap we got last winter. I hope this year is easier.

This would likely lead to another brutally cold winter in the central and eastern United States while the western U.S. would have above average temperatures, particularly in the Pacific Northwest View Quote Not that it is evidence for AGW, but it is not in any way evidence against global warming - as your linked article predicts cold for some areas based on increased temperature in the the pacific. |
