They must be archived on a separate server.

I tried following a link to a rifle pic thread and had the same results you did.

I've been having the same issue.  I added certain threads to my favorites so I could revist them (particularly threads where I was testing gear so I could give perioidic updates).

ALL those threads are gone.

As a matter of fact when I do a search on my Name for all the Threads I've authord in the last 3 months only 2 threads pop up (and I've started MUCH more than that).

Palo_Duro, the link has a space between the "/" and "forums" when you paste it into the location bar.  Take that out and it works.  At least it's wrapped so it fits in the column.  On one of the other threads it isn't and it makes that box really wide and the text of the post really narrow.

So is everything over a month old gone now?  I just tried to bring up a couple of threads that I bookmarked that I don't think were 3 months old and they tranferred to the forum index page.  Can team members acess older threads?

Well, it isn't everything that's missing.  I just hit an old bookmark to a thread that's 2 YEARS old and it came up.  Followed a link in another thread to an older thread from August that worked too.  But some more recent threads seem to be gone.  <shrug>

Right.  The 2-year-old thread had a last response in 2002 but was still there.  Maybe it depends on the forum?  The 2-yr-old one was in the Industry board, but the one from August that worked was in the AR Discussions forum.

May also be a factor of traffic on that individual forum. If new threads are not generated then old ones are not archived.

Doesn't look like it.

Two of my threads were in the Optics forum - one of the busiest on the board. Another was in the SF forum (another busy one).  Two examples here:
