I keep a tab open to Active Topics.

About half the time, rather than reloading the page to see new posts, I just click the Active Topics button.

This would reload Active Topics, as expected.

Now, it seems starting today, it doesn't remember that I've selected "General" in the forums dropdown. It chooses "All Forums", which excludes all General forums, including GD.

Is having to manually select your forums each time you go to Active Topics a bug, or intentional?

I'm not sure when it changed, but I think what you are asking about is a very old update. Most likely you still had settings which allowed it, but even then it's weird that it would as most of those settings were removed.

You can setup a bookmark in your browser to go to the specific filter, but I don't think it's something you can save.

Something else strange about it... Now I'm making sure that it's set to General... and my most recent post that shows is 7:47am, and refreshing it does nothing at all...

I'm even F12'ing into dev mode and selecting "Empty cache and hard reload."

I've noticed that refreshes in Active Topics don't change the results as much as you'd expect, so I'm thinking there must be a serverside caching going on to improve performance... does that need a kick to make sure it's still actively caching the latest results?

I've noticed similar. Clicking "Active Topics" shows zero threads from GD.

Maybe ARF is trying to save us from ourselves.
