Out of curiosity,  what constitutes a "Hot Topic in the forums"  on the front page?

The legend at the bottom left corner shows that 50 posts will push a topic from the norm into "hot" status.

Didn't realize that the "fire files" in the forums equated to "hot topics" on the home page.

Oooooh, little misunderstanding.

The homepage topics are basically the topics with the LATEST posts to them... no post count or any other criteria matters, just a quick list of the latest topics that have new posts.
