My boss goes there every year. He started going later because in June all the trails are not opened until they are dry to minimize the ruts. He also said the locals can be big help on finding the best places to go.

I have all the trail maps for the whole area in and around the Black Hills. I live here and there is a ton of trails in the Hills to ride on.
