I have a few I really like, but my favorite so far is Barrister & Man Tallow Shaving Soap, Seville.
I also like Test of Shave and Razorock shaving soap. What are your favorites? Any soaps you want to try out? I still want to try out the coconut Mikes Natural Soap when he updates his inventory. Just updated with poll. |

I've always been a fan of Em's Place shaving cream but after trying Cremo I'm not sure I'll every try anything ever again.

I hit my face up with a trimmer on the lowest setting once a week. Shave my cheeks and neck each night dry. Dad wasn't there to help me out....I didn't start shaving until I was 24 Now at 51 I just keep it looking "reasonable" |

Asolute Favorite? Art of Shaving Sandalwood, hands down! Since I am not made of money, however, the nod goes to Captain's Choice these days. Sandalwood for the Fall/Winter and Bay Rum for the Spring/Summer. I tried the North...good, but not as good as the other two.

I just get van der hagen from Walgreens. I don't want to spend the time trying to find what's real soap and what isn't. |

Missing option: none

I want to try out Mikes Natural Soap, but I'm waiting on him to update his inventory. I want to try out the coconut. I did try out the Mitchells Wool Fat, I wasn't too impressed with the couple times I tried it, but maybe I just haven't dialed it in yet. Arko or Proraso sandalwood. Both lather up nice and make my whiskers easier to shave than any of the stuff in a can.

Another vote for Kell's.

Latha shaving soap by Barrister and Mann. Comes in different scents and not expensive for an artisan soap. Works great in soft and hard water.

Really enjoying the Art of Shaving unscented currently.

There are too many scents to pick just one. I picked Caties Bubbles because of the last two I have tried. I have been using them more than my other choices.

Right now I'm really enjoying Arko in the stick.
In the past, I was using an Uber lather I mixed up every AM with Soap Commander puck to which I added a dab of Cremo and 2 drops of glycerine. I bloom the Arko with a little hot water in my bowl while I brush my teeth. |

Stirling is my go to soap. I have 4 in rotation and their release of the Strop Shoppe Baker Street is fantastic.

I like TOBs sandalwood and grapefruit. Lately I'm on the Castle Forbes Lavender. I mix in from Proraso as well.
|
|
|
I prefer cream to soap. Xpec is my fave, then any of the Penhaligon's. If I use soap, I use Lea classic.
|
|

The Blades Grim "Smolder" is my go to right now. But, just today I got in a sample pack from Stirling so........ I might have a new favorite next week.

I've been a big Stirling fan since the beginning, but the price difference between Rod's stuff and the bigger brands is definitely narrowing. If it goes up much more, I may have to start looking for another supplier.

Been using Taylor of Old Bond Sandalwood. I'm liking it.
