You have to love a working drive-in theater. We've got 3 within an hour and a half drive. The one above is our usual haunt. This weekend they're showing Dukes of Hazard and Batman Begins. That's right, opening weekend at a drive-in for Dukes. Only the second time I can remember them having the opening of a film (the other was Walking Tall last year). $6 per person for 2 films. Can't beat that with a stick.

Talked to the guy at the gate, he said they did a shitload of business this weekend. Maybe their best weekend ever. Almost 200 cars every night. Something like 650 adult tickets sold Friday night, 600 on Saturday night.
Tonight was the most full I've ever seen the place. Easily 150 cars there. Nothing like watching a film with your windshield wipers on.
