I am super good friends with this guy. He's a dedicated Christian, and a seasoned missions trekker. He's been up the Amazon in Brazil, to villages in Peru, Haiti, rebuilt houses in Indonesia this past year after the tsunami, and just got back from Albania.

So he announces to me that his missions group at his church has felt led to take a missionary group to Somalia. They really have a focus on non-arab islamic nations now.

Ordinarily I'd say go for it... but that's one place that I just don't have a good feeling about.

I ask all my Christian friends here to pray for their group.

Not my first choice of places to go (Maybe we can organize a missions trip to Knob Creek next year? ).

I bet he can get some deals on AKs and RPKs, that would be shooters paradise!
