I love my Camaro, even if it did infect me with the car disease. Its a 92 25th Ann. Edition.  Anybody else have a love affair with an IROC or 82 to 92 Camaro?

Got a '91 RS with the roller-cam TBI dog of a 305 sitting in disrepair in the garage.

Someday she'll be back in driving condition...

My love-affair with the 3G edition started when I saw my best friend's sister come home with her brandy-new 84? Berlinetta.

I'm still looking for one of those pedestal mounted rotating top-load tape decks!

Striker should check in soon. While I like the 3rd gen IMO opinion they are the worst of the breed. I love the early 2nd gens and 4th gens the most.

3rd Gen Camaro's are o.k., the Firebirds however are a disgrace. IMO 3rd Gen years were a dark time for the f-body. Same goes for the Firebird though after '73 in my opinion, '74-'81 were the ugliest Firebird's ever made.

I would have too, I almost bought a '99 T/A last year. Only had 42k was going to buy until he told me he wanted $28k, his reason for wanting that much......"Yeah but it's a collector car, they don't make these anymore." I know they do not make, but they aren't a collector car, they still did full production runs up until the last year. So unfortunatley, what are left of the V,IV Gen f-bodies will probably be outrageously exepensive.

I actually love 3rd gen Fbodies. They were the only hot sports cars when I was growing up. Unfortunately it is hard to find one that hasn't been totally beat on and neglected. The worst years for performance was actually the 2nd gen when emission laws just started. The 3rd gens aren't that exciting performance wise when you use today's standard but back in the 80's they were the fastest thing around besides a vette. The only hot cars of the 80s were fbodies, buick GN, mustang 5.0 and the vette. Mopar had become a joke.

4th gens aren't going for any outragous amounts of money. If you look hard you can find a 01-02 WS.6 or TA w/ low mileage for like 16K. Hell I didn't pay 28K for my 99 WS.6 in 2001. They haven't gained value. A 99 WS.6 now is probably worth about 12K or less.

I'd rather have a 3rd gen than a 4th gen.

As said above, it doesn't take much to get 'em running, and to me, the 4th gen is just fugly.  They were fugly when they came out, and they were fugly when GM finally killed 'em.

Just hung a few Nitrous solenoids on it yesterday...
