Any one here has one?
Are they comfortable for a fat ass?
Good for long distance drives?
Yes i know "no horsepower, v8 cvroom vroom , America, bald eagle".
Save it, used to race motorcycles, if I wanted to go fast I would get a 1 liter bike.

I had a 2017 for a few years. Drove it 4000 miles and sold it.

I’m 5’10” 150 ish and the seats were good, snug good. I wouldn’t want to be a few inches taller or much heavier, they’re very small inside.

The left rear seat is unusable, maybe 2-3” of leg room? My daughter would sit in the right rear Indian style so my 5’ wife could sit in the front.

Also it looks like I have plenty of time to make up my mind.
Nothing in stock around me and the one place wanted 8k over msrp.
I usually have people buy me dinner before they fuck me.

I have a 20 BRZ. I'm 6'1" and I fit fine. Wife is 5'11" so both front seats are back so far that they are touching the rear seat. Fitting comfortably inside the car isn't an issue, its getting in and out, at least for us.

You should fit, but depending on your shape may have trouble getting the seat belt buckled.  Like the other poster I'm 6' 1" and fit with a helmet on.  Unless you have a really tall torso, you should fit ok.

Not sure. I've only made 4 hour round trips so far. For me, the ride is fine, so is the seat. Everyone has different asses and backs. Wife used to have a Nissan Rogue. It hurt my lower back and ass after 3 hours. My old Toyota pickup didn't.

Not sure about the 22s, but 20 and older had sound generators. The FA20 revs high on the interstate running 80 mph. It was loud enough inside that we had to speak a little louder than normal. I took mine out and it's a huge improvement.

The sound generator is electric and has a dedicated speaker on the '22.  Takes about 5 seconds to unplug the module by taking the dash end cap off with the door open.

Hoboninja, do you want a perrin inlet tube?  already set there?

You might consider holding out for the GR Corolla. That looks like it's gonna be a great little car. Or, spend a bit more on the new Z coming very soon. Not sure how the handling compares to the GR86, but Doug DeMuro raved about it yesterday.

I want RWD.
Nissan? The new z should be considerably more expensive. Not sure if it's worth it.
Edit: looked it up 45-55k it looks like for the z.
I just want a fun car abd not care as its gonna be eatten and destroyed by potholes and road salt.

I'm 6'4", 230, 36" inseam and once I'm in I fit fine- I have to go in head-first. I really like the seats. Leg room and head room are fine.  Manual models are tricky with a relatively small foot well and size 15s.

The GR is a better fit for me than a Supra, and I've literally driven both back-to-back.

I've never driven one too far though, natch.

I already foresee a big demand for the GR Corolla and dealers wanting a premium.

Thanks folks. And i have stopped worrying about the seats.
Its still gonna be cramped due to me being a fat ass.
Recaro makes these great ergomed seats which adjust very wel and are comfy for long drives.

Last week at work a storm rolled in. We're not allowed to be on deck when theres lightning, so we went to our cars. By buddy is slightly taller than me (I'm 6'1") and he weighs over 400 lbs. He was able to sit in the passenger seat, but he had to recline the seat quite a bit.

You should be fine, even with the steering column in front of you.

I picked up a 2022 BRZ two weeks ago, only 150 miles so far since I was out of town on vacation. I'm 5'8" 270 and fit fine. Getting in can be a little tough, but I'm fine getting out. My other car is a Miata so I'm getting used to it.

ETA: Screw Toyota, every dealer around here wanted $5,000 to $15,000 over MSRP. Ordered a Subaru for MSRP and no games.

Toyota prices are insane. I bought my BRZ used when it was a year old. Identically equipped 86s with twice miles cost $2-3k more just because of the badging.

No. I got it because it was a V8, manual and Supercharged.

It does have a nice hatch trunk space though. It does fit me well at 6’3” and 250lbs. The Toyota seems like a great car. One I wouldn’t mind driving. As long as I am comfy in it.
