I'm not looking to spend $200-$400 on a high end one geared more towards off roading.  Just looking for one that's quality and won't crap out after you use it a few times like most of the cheapies on the market.  Thanks,

Harborfreight has one that is usually $50-$70, depending on if it is on sale or not. It is the same compressor as the $200 viaairs.

go to the wrecking yards.
check out the olds mini vans, and a few of the other gm types that offer on board compressors.
they seem to last a while. and should be pretty cheap.
