Anyone have one of the new 2007 3/4 ton GMC/Chevrolet trucks with a 6.0 liter engine and the 6 speed transmission? If so, what kinf of gas milage do you get?

8.1 engines get better than the 6.0. I have seen 6.0 engines get 8-12 mpg. Some 8.1 I have seen get 15 mpg.

My dad has an 04 8.1 GMC Sierra, 3500 with a utility box on the back and he's lucky if he gets 6-10 MPG.

I don't think GM makes the 8.1 anymore.

Looks like you're right for the 07 Model Year Matty.
My dad is fixing to get a new work truck from his work either next year or end of this year. I'm surprised they quit with the 8.1.

No one buying it anymore,the diesels sell much better,Ford and Dodge big V-10 don't sell very good,either.
