Mine's doing pretty well actually...I'm happy with it's performance.  Of course, part of that could be because my company has a great matching percentage but I'm not complaining either way

+16.6%

I've been flipping company stock the old fashioned way.....buy low sell high....usually on a 10% price swing.

I've also employeed a simple method to do it.  10% rise, sell some....another 10% rise, sell some more.  On the down side, 10% fall....buy some, another 10% fall buy some more.

I'm not a financial genius by any stretch but it seems to be demonstrating gains.

update:  $2.00+ rise in company stock after good earnings rpt & forecast/guidence upward.  I'm thinkin' it is time to retire....401k up 19.2% ytd

Last twelve months: a littleover 22%.  If I would've stayed with small caps only I'd be at 27%.  Last year wasn't too shabby either.

Up 2% for the year.    Asset allocation was (roughly) 20% bond fund, 20% company stock and the rest in S&P500 Index fund.  I re-jiggered it earlier this week so that I am 25% bond fund and 75% aggressive mix large cap equity fund.

5.6% Since January 1st; 22.7% in the last year.  I'm 100% in stock funds, with about 1/3 each in international, S&P 500, and a mid-cap fund, all index funds, of course.  So far it looks like 2004 was a much better year for performance, but I'm in no position to complain.

My 401k at work is through fidelity and we get seriously crappy choices. This is reflected in my poor PRR of 4.4% for fidelity assets (thank goodness their international fund is doing very well or I'd probably be underwater. )

Luckily I've also got about the same amount in other retirement funds (SEP-IRA,IRA,Roth) with Vanguard and I'm doing much better there. This was primarily due to early investments in energy over 14 months ago. My PRR with vanguard assets is 16.3%.

Everything is in funds with both companies as I just don't have the time to keep on top of stocks. If things keep going to plan I should be able to retire comfortably at 50 with the house paid off and a nice egg in the bank.
We'll see if my new son (2 weeks old!) can avoid wrecking that for me!
