He just blew another lead for the Red Sox.

Glad the Dodgers got rid of him.
 He used to be a premier closer a few years ago, but not anymore. When he came out of the bullpen it was "game over." He hasn't been nearly as good since arm surgery a few years ago. |

I am glad that the Red Sox gave up something for him. For a long time before the deadline, I was afraid that the Rangers were going to be stuck with him, get nothing, and watch him leave for another team in the offseason. A team as bad as the Rangers has no need for a closer like Gagne (although he did a good job for them).
