Good point, and quite a bit cheaper than building an ITX i3 rig... It would be pretty sweet to pair up the red NUC with one of
these loaded with a 7970.
Hadn't heard of Thunderbolt until now. This is very cool (and very expensive)
I don't think thunderbolt connected GPU's work with Windows yet, they do on a Mac though.
It is actually the same shape as a mini display port, daisy chainable, and can carry video signal out from the IGPU. So you could come out of your thunderbolt port, into a storage drive, and out to your monitor... all with one port. Its a really slick technology.
Even better yet, soon monitors with speakers/webcams/usb hubs/etc. will all be connected along with the video input through one thunderbolt cable.
