Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Why Such a FPS Disparity???

Re-installed both Morrowind and Diablo2 on my new laptop (HP Pavilion g7-2235dx). Morrowind runs at 40-50fps but Diablo2 only up to 15fps. Can anyone explain why there's such a huge disparity in fps between these two older games? TIA!...

well,  what graphic settings do you have each game set at...?

Morrowind 1024x768, Diablo2 640x480 (highest it will go). Minimum resolution on my laptop is 1024x768, could this be slowing the fps of D2?
