Should I run bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff or not?

Happens every time. I have to restart my computer to get it back to normal.

Large number of files? Try using command line to copy the files. The explorer UI tries to update the folder contents as well as pull media details for them in run-time. It'll seem unresponsive if the destination or source folder have a lot of files in them (~100k or so).

Perhaps it is dlink this and "cream of something" that.

Also, try mounting the share as a drive letter and using robocopy (built in).

Completely normal.  Explorer in Windows has never handled copying a lot of files well.  The command line works much better.z
