Cool freebie...

I quit taking the Northrup's seriously since their reviews as well as their presentations seemed a bit amateurish.. They reviewed studio strobes and declared PCB is better than ProFoto, Elinchrom, or Bowens.. Seriously...

The Northrups' audience is primarily the new/novice photographer and their videos should be assessed through that filter. If you have in mind this video, my takeaway when I saw it in 2014 was that Tony was saying, in effect, the PCB units offer great performance for the money, but don't offer the power output and range of accessories of the Elinchrom or ProFoto. It's hard to argue his point - especially for a new photographer just setting up their first studio without many kilobucks to dedicate to lighting.
