I have a Pentium II, 450 MHz with 384 MB RAM.  I only have a 56K dial up internet connection.  Am I going to have troubles playing if I install this game?  I won't even bother if my PC is not up to the task.

I have a 1ghz AMD (100mhz FSB) with a geforce2MX and 650Mb of RAM.  I get about 15 to 30 FPS on a low ping server.  It is playable but no where near optimal.  In comparison I get 70+ FPS playing high-poly models in Counter Strike.

I think your 450mhz is gonna choke, especially with a 56K modem.  You will definitely want to upgrade to play AA.

There is a test program with the game that tells you if your machine has what it takes.

To play this game smoothly at a lower screen resolution, you need as a minimum:

1ghz CPU
64MB card (compatible to a GF2 - not MX)
512MB of RAM
Broadband connection (some people on dialup play)

I have a 1700+ XP, 768MB RAM, 64MB GeForce3, and a cable modem - it plays great at 1280x1024, but I turned off client side effects cause it slows down my system.

I'm going to upgrade my video card and maybe a 2600+ XP (266mhz) in my system soon to keep up with new games as it already can not play new games with everything on.
