Damn  it hurts!

I have a habit of running alot and even more when stressed. Well the last few weeks I have run into the biggest stressers of all for us guys, Women. So needless to say I've been running ALOT!

Well a few weeks ago After running with about 10 lbs extra in a book bag for a little more than a mile I noticed my left knee started to hurt, after I finished my run it hurt alot, especially when I put weight on it. It lasted for about 3 days like this then it went away. I gave it 1 1/2 weeks before I started running a gain. When I did, same thing happened, So I stopped for about 3 weeks, until tonight that is.

I started out pretty moderate pased for about 2 miles and noticed nothing so I kicked up the speed on mile 3 and about half way in it came back.

Any clues? I am thinking something to do with the ACL due to the weight bearing problem but I don't remember any injuries to it. I had ACL replacement in my right knee so I am DEFINETLY familar with what an ACL tear feals like!

When I did mine the pain was tolerable walking or going up stairs , but there was no way I could descend stairs without real pain and the knee buckling .

Anybody know what this is or have suggestions on what to do?  I got the same problem from running one too many sets of stadium stairs.
