I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's trying to figure out how to use the "Bindon Aiming Concept" with an ACOG. Both eyes open and focused on the target and you can see a ghost image of the illuminated part of the reticle over the target. It takes some practice and some peoples' vision is such that they just don't get the hang of it. You do need consistent cheek weld in the right spot in relation to the optic to make it work. You may need to adjust either the cheek weld via the stock, or the optic mounting, to get a comfortable, stable, and correct head/eye/optic relationship. Without the correct eye position in relation to the optic BAC doesn't work IME. |
| yea thanks i am talking about bindon aimimg concept, geting that cheek weld seems not to be a problem but it is something i will play around with. but then again it works some times and i am right on when i focus with one eye but other times the ret moves about 6 in to the right when i go back and forth. i guess practice makes perfect. only time will tell. any thing else to help with practice besides tape over the front lens ? |
