I initially came across this facility two years ago when the guy with the mustache was selling memberships and course certificates.  I was a bit hesitant about the facility after some of the stuff I was reading about them.
Anyway, I just returned from the subject course and the 2-Day Practical Rifle Course that I took back-to-back and boy was I impressed.  This is a 1st class outfit.  Put away your misconceptions and go if you've been sitting on the fence.

The facility was in excellent condition.  There are 21 individual ranges (rifle & pistol) that can accommodate 20 shooters on each line.  There is a tactical shotgun course and 1500 yard precision rifle range.  There is also a
repelling course and probably others that I missed.  The restrooms are completed and were kept clean during the day.  There was a new building that served as the classroom and could seat several hundred students.
Clean port-o-potties were provided on the ranges furthest from the main RR facility.

The instructors I met were top notch.  Most came from Military or LEO backgrounds.  They ran a tight course schedule but made it fun and were more than willing to help if you had a question or were doing something wrong.  Both courses were very faced paced which kept you on your toes during the course of the day.  I was surprised to learn that Front Sight had approximately 200 instructors on staff.  Some were part time or worked seasonally as needed.

I was expecting to have to endure some type of sales pitch from the good Doctor.  That did NOT happen.  With the approximately 400 students there when I attended it was obvious his previous marketing skills have paid off.  We also learned they are opening a facility in Texas and were in negotiations with Dallas and Houston for the best business deal.

Overall I was very happy with the whole experience.  I greatly improved my handgun skills and learned a few new things in the rifle course as well.  Just Go....you'll learn a lot and have a great time!

I went to the 4 day handgun course a couple years ago and learned a ton.  I urge people not to let the annoying marketing give you a negative view of the place.  I just bought the lifetime all classes membership.
