I don't think I've wandered over here before, but I was hoping there would be some tacked threads on various sidearm drills. Combo rifle/sidearm would be nice too.

I don't have anything specific in mind, but want to freshen up the routines.

Thanks in advance.

Oh - I have a private range, lots of room and few limitations on configuration. My cows might disagree.

I like to have my friends load my magazines with random amounts and occasionally sticking a inert round.

You never know when it is coming so it makes Tap, Rack and Bang more natural.  You could do the same thing with your carbine.

A few hundred listed at http://www.rangelog.com/Resources/Drills/tabid/485/Default.aspx

Lots of good ones that cover all skills.  Have to join to see them all but it's free.

Looks like a great idea for newer shooters too to assess the flinch factor.

Get this book

Tactical Pistol Shooting, 2nd Edition by Erik Lawrence and Mike Pannone.

Lots of good stuff.  Chapter Nine is Combat Marksmanship Conditioning and Drills.

Some local real deal guys recommended this book to me (and the M4/M16 Handbook by Mike Pannone).  I get alot of training and good dope from these guys and they really recommend these books to me, so I took it as Gospel and I was not disappointed.  I am trying to get quicker without sacrificing my (high) level of accuracy.  Very straight forward, a quick, easy read but lots to think about and lots to do make you a more proficient shooter.  It is like the text book that any quality Pistol course would use.  This book is like working with a trainer to get past a plateau when lifting or to finally nail down a specific kata.

I got mine at my local Barnes and Noble.  (I love making the libtard hippys ring up gun books...)  If you order from BHI, it says Erik Lawrence will inscribe the book...

I have a number of drills below.  I often list the stages of fire etc, and you can see the drill shot.  It has helped me to understand how certain drills are conducted by watching others shoot them.

Shooting drills and much more.
