I wish now that my son and I would have registered for the Nationals this year.  We shot our first major match at the Ohio State Championship and have finished fairly well in all the IDPA events we have entered this season.  Next year we plan to shoot the West Virginia and Ohio State matches and the Nationals if they're not too far away.

Have they announced where the Nationals will be for 2009?

IDPA HQ is currently in negotiations with USSA in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the 2009 IDPA Nationals.

On that note, what is the biggest and nicest range we do have in central Texas? Is there anyting in Texas that could handle a Nationals?

If that is the same place that holds the USPSA Summer Blast they have a great spot! Well besides the snakes scurrying about the bays which freaked out us Maine guys!

2009 might be at the USSA Range. I think they are still trying to negotiate a contract with the range. The Range is in Tulsa.

To qualify for the Nationals you must be an IDPA member. You have to shoot at least 2 sanctioned IDPA matchs in the same year.
