So I just finished a few matches at Perry and I'd like to get a little more serious about practicing and shooting high power.
Having extremely limited experience across the course I realized the importance of tracking data and knowing zeros for different conditions. Obviously the data book is where that info can come from. My question is what all goes into it? Only matches that are across the course? Everything including practice that's not a match? Reduced range practice? How do you use the book? And any other insight into using it is appreciated. |

I put everything in my book. Anytime I shoot. Practice / match / reduced course, etc. I write pretty much everything I notice about the day and how I shot. The wind, clouds, mirage. Zeros, adjustments, mistakes made, etc. Frank So you just use whatever page applies to what you're doing? I guess I might be over thinking the order of the pages. |
