Pretty simply put, does anyone else here shoot them at Camp Perry?
I am not talking about bipods or bags, just prone at 1000 yards. |

I have before. You can learn a lot from it.
If I have the vacation time to stay for NRA and long range weeks I'll bring a purpose-built .308 Palma rifle with 28" barrel and iron sights. When I first started the first three or four years I brought an iron-sighted M1A to shoot in Service Rifle class. You don't need a fancy or expensive rifle –– it can be done with a few modifications, good sights, good handloads, and a good spotting scope. |

I have one. Are all the matches iron sights matches or are there scope matches as well? During the Long-Range championship some matches are Iron sights and some are Any sights. Which match you fire in depends on what type of rifle you are firing.
