I'm a fairly newbie HP shooter, and have taken to a dry fire regiment of about 15 minutes per night, four to five times per week.  I noticed that  Creedmoor sells an AR15 dry fire device, and was wondering if it is needed.  Am I going to damage my AR in some way by dry firing as much as I do?

Thanks.

You won't damage your AR with dryfire.  The device will allow you to reset the hammer with a very short pull on the charging handle though.  I have one that I used to use in my Bushmaster, but it won't fit in the carrier of my RRA.

Add this device to the on going list of gimmicks that you will encounter in the sport of high power.
Molly coated bullets, bolt carrier weights, accu-wedge are just three others but there are many out there.
Good you came here and asked before you bought this one!
Tomorrow there is surely to be another. As the old saying goes, "there is a sucker born every minute"!

I just spent the last week "snapping in".  It was fun, even in the rain.  Dry fire all you want.
