Does anyone have a good diagram of what parts you need for a free floated handguard that looks like the standard 2 piece?

Also where can you even buy these?

I have most of my parts ready for my Franken NM rifle but still need a barrel and FF handguards.

You can get this item from
RRA, WOA, CLE, Bushmaster and there are several others. RRA & WOA are probably the most popular. They come with modified gas tube and instructions.

Brownells 800-741-0015 has the RRA for $100. Listed as Item # 739-000-003ED NM Free Float Barrel Sleeve. Best deal around as it includes the modified hand guards, swivel, swivel rivet, modified gas tube and gas tube pin. Believe it or not, here is one AR part that is in stock today!

FWIW....I just put one of those RRA free floaters from Brownells on and AR of mine in Dec. of last year, nice piece of equipment comes with instructions and is very easy to install. I would buy another in a heartbeat
