I shot this target the other day at 100yds prone rapid. It seems like the hits are spread out horizontally, shot 3 other groups the same. I can notice a slight pulse beat in the front sight, would this be the cause. If so, how much does a thick left hand glove help with pulse beat? The wind was about 10kts from the right.
Thanks, Ron.

Ron;
That's pretty good shooting! Even though it is on the SR-1 target.

The pulse beat I would say is coming from your bicep telegraphing through the sling into the rifle. Your sling may need to be turned more outboard on your arm. Away from the bicep.

The pulse beat usually groups your shots vertically or diagonally. Do you have a heavy sweat shirt on under your shooting jacket?

The group ain't too bad. The flyer could be those Hornady bullets!

I don't have a shooting jacket yet, I just use a thin canvas coat I sewed some patches on. I see what you mean about the pulse beat coming from your arm and transfering to the sling. I put the sling loop as high on my arm as I can get it because it feels more comfortable that way. I'll have to try shooting with a sweatshirt on next time.

I have some 69gn SMK's loaded up but have not tried them yet.

Forward elbow looks like it's rolling around.
