Any time I've done it I regretted it.

I sleep light. One guy woke up at 4am, made a boatload of noise than sat in a chair staring at the wall till 6am. We didn't need to remotely be up before about 7am. This was after he stayed up till midnight.

I value training and getting a crappy night of sleep often times makes it where you don't get the most out of training the next day.

I remember one class where it was REQUIRED that you stay with a bunch of guys in some cabin type setup. Sure as shit there was some dude that had some crazy sleep apnea snore a thon going. I seriously thought he was going to die more than a few times. I got practically no sleep. I moved upstairs and slept on the floor midway through the night and still could hear him. Communal arrangements rarely work out.
