I'm not sure where to put this question and GD is just too sketchy...
My brother is looking to do some laser training with his AR with those active laser targets, but he would also like to be able to use the laser in a handgun. Is there a laser that has different "holders" that would make it into different calibers, so you don't have to buy more than one laser? Thanks!! |

I know of the type of device you are asking about. As far as I know you need a different laser emitter for each caliber - it's the target that is the expensive part and it works with all the emitters.
They may have come up with a universal emitter since I last played with them, but I've not head of it. I'm going to move this to the Training forum as it's a training device and they are more likely to have the scoop on what's currently available. |
| I have the Laser Ammo SureStrike Ultimate LE Edition ordered off of Amazon, I've only been using it for a month or so, and not real heavily, but it has the inserts for use in .223, 9mm, .40, and .45 caliber firearms. I've only used it in a 9mm so far, but it has been reliable for what I've been doing. |
