I have heard so many horror stories about Delta selection that I no longer know what to believe about it. Kids tell ghost stories around the camp fire when camping. Soldiers tell horror stories about Delta selection and SERE training around a red flashlight when on FTXs. I have seen the so called CAG/Delta group. After seeing the Delta/CAG spooks I don't know what is truth about delta training and what is not. |
It's not like the training is any big secret. They break it down into the basics, they master the basics, then they train, and train, and train, and train, and train, and train. Several members of this board have been to professional, private, classes with Seals, CAG, Dvgrp, and others. No doubt they are getting training that civilians aren't, but in many cases, ESPECIALLY weapons, they get a lot of the same stuff we can. |
No, Dusty. They get to go to martial arts classes which teach them stuff so lethal they need to register their hands as lethal weapons. They also use the deadly "Extreme Shock" ammo. |

Yeah it's pretty amazing, if 922(o) was gone and the laws regarding high explosives were not there, and you could bank roll the ammunition/weapons/HE/training costs you could train up a group that is as HSLD as CAG. Makes me happy to live in a country that is that free. Just wish the HE regs and 922(o) wasn't there. The HSLD guys have the basics down to second nature, that is what makes them HSLD. |

OK dude, I've been watching you post all over this site claiming to be Delta. I've had more than enough and think you are a clown. So I'll call you out. We have several ex-Delta members here in town that have recently left AD. And you know what, NONE of them go around running their mouth about being Delta. It would not take much at all to verify that you truly were Delta. This can be done offline or though PM. I'll protect your identiity on this site, won't post your name, etc. There are many ways we can confirm you truly are what you say you are. But at this point you need to put up or shut up, because right now I'm betting you are some weirdo in a basement. Delta or not, I have not met very many vets that go around talking like you do, myself included. You drop names pretty easily, even Col Beckwtih's. You do not strike me as a quiet professional. I think if you are proven to be a fake, you need to be banned. |
